The Church Board At Aurora
Dave and Linda Peterson

Dave Peterson is the Board Secretary and is beginning a two year term. His cumulative time as a board member at Aurora totals 19 years. Dave was on the Building Committee from 1982 to 1987 when our present sanctuary was built. He was a Northwest Nazarene University Trustee from 1999 to 2006 and on the WAPAC District Finance Committee from 1997 to 2003. He served on the WAPAC District Advisory Board from 1998 to 2001 and started a new term on the District Advisory Board this year, 2006.

Denny is at the beginning of his second term on the Board. He will be on the board for two years. The Flanders family is very active in Kidz On Deck. Kendall is the Secretary in the church office and was the producer of Kidz On Deck in 2005 - 2006. |

Norm and Kathy Hagen
|
Norm is in the middle of a two year term. He and Kathy share leadership of the "Christian Living Adult Bible Fellowship. Norm is an accountant in Edmonds, WA, in the firm THE HAGEN FIRM, PLLC which he founded with their son, Brent Hagen. |
Russ and Kim Miller

Kurt and Betsy Nilson |
Kurt is at the beginning of a two year term. Kurt has been a member of Aurora for over 20 years and has raised three children in our church. One son is in the Marines and another is in the Army. |
Ralph and Darlys Palmen
|
Ralph Palmen is in his second consecutive term on the board of Aurora Church of the Nazarene. He has led Adult Bible Fellowship groups. Since 1989, Ralph has been on the Board of Directors of Northwest Nazarene University. In addition he is the President and Director of Pinnacle Forum America. In the area of business, he was instrumental in organizing Express Personnel Service, which is now the largest independently owned staffing company in the United States. Ralph is a nationally known author and speaker. Speaking engagements may be arranged and his books may be obtained through The Palmen Institute. |

Stephen is beginning a two year term on the board. Stephen works in Kidz On Deck and has been one of our Quizzing coaches. His quizzing team made an exceptional appearance in a past General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene quizzing contest. Stephen is a computer database consultant. |
Jay and Debby Sutherland

Jay is beginning a two year term on the board. Both of the Sutherlands are active in Missions and have gone on several Work and Witness trips. Jay is in the construction industry with his own business Sutherland Construction, Inc., a residential remodeling business. |
Geoff and Jennifer Tamman

Geoff Tamman is new to the board in 2007. The Board has elected him to be the Church Treasurer. |
Lowell and Cindy Whiteman |
Cindy is on the board by virtue of being elected President of the
Missionary Society. She has organized several very successful Missions projects including Work and Witness trips.

| This board fairly reflects the Aurora community in that it includes members who live in Woodinville, WA, Seattle, WA, Edmonds, WA, Shoreline, WA, and Mukilteo, WA. Our church membership includes residents of every city surrounding the church. |
