Kidz On Deck is not "children's church" - It is family church! The purpose of expecting parents to share the experience of Kidz On Deck is of great importance for spiritual development of each child at Aurora Church of the Nazarene. No one has been given a greater opportunity to influence a child more than parents, grandparents or guardians.

Parents who share the worship experience are more likely to take the experience home. Families can reinforce the message of the morning and what God is saying to each of them. Kidz On Deck is a place where children in K - 5th grade and parents meet friends, talk about God and participate in high - energy music, drama, choreography and technology. The goal is to open up discussion and interaction between children and parents about spiritual issues, using virtues and character values as themes. Kidz On Deck is the best way to present virtues found in the 85 most important stories in the Bible.
