Synnøve Aanensen will be the special guest soloist with the Voice of Joy Choir o May the 18th. Synnove is a well recognized country & western singer in Norway and the USA. She is also recognized as the best Gospel Singer in Norway. She has sung at Aurora before and we really enjoy her singing.
Synnøve Aanensen was born and raised on the island of Karmøy, on the West coast of Norway where she now lives with her husband and four children.
She started her singing career as a little girl and released her first record at the tender age of 11. During the past 5 years Synnøve has concentrated on her music full time and has released a total of 5 CDs.
Over the years Synnøve has travelled the world taking part in country music and gospel festivals. She has sung in USA, Sweden, Kenya, Poland, Yugoslavia and Romania.
Synnøve has worked with countless artists and sung on numerous stages and has become one of Norway's best known Christian Roots/Country artists and has been hailed as having "Norway's best country voice" For more information (in Norwegian) visit Synnove's website. Synnøve har sunget helt siden hun var liten jente, da gav hun ut flere kassetter. For noen år tilbake gav hun ut CD'en "Heaven" og i 2002 kom CD'en "Mitt rette hjem". Sommeren 2003 kommer hun med ny produksjon. Hun har reist på sangoppdrag både innenlands og utenlands, sunget på "korstog" i Kenya, Polen, Romania, osv. Hun er en fleksibel artist som deltar på møter og holder egne konserter med et bredt spekter både for unge og eldre.
